Psalm 133

A song of ascents. Of David.

²⁶ I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing.^[a](A) I will send down showers in season;^(B) there will be showers of blessing.^(C)

²⁷ For as lightning^(A) that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming^(B) of the Son of Man.^(C)

46 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: The gate of the inner court^(A) facing east^(B) is to be shut on the six working days, but on the Sabbath day and on the day of the New Moon^(C) it is to be opened.

¹² “‘When the prince provides^(A) a freewill offering^(B) to the Lord—whether a burnt offering or fellowship offerings—the gate facing east is to be opened for him. He shall offer his burnt offering or his fellowship offerings as he does on the Sabbath day. Then he shall go out, and after he has gone out, the gate will be shut.^(C)

⁴⁶ and the room facing north^(A) is for the priests who guard the altar.^(B) These are the sons of Zadok,^(C) who are the only Levites who may draw near to the Lord to minister before him.^(D)”
